10th Century Prisoner

a movie by W G Galbraith

shot on Kodak standard 8mm film (circa 1992)

I really couldn't say where this film came from.
10th Century Prisoner? Why…?
I know I wanted to do something with masks, to get away
from it being me in the film and to try to have characters
with their own (hopefully) definable existences. Shot in
Scotland, the movie made use of disused farm buildings,
apart from the beach scene, which was shot in the early
morning at New Aberdour on the Moray Firth.
